Hello, i'm just getting into everything here.. Got sick of the way my desktop looks, and fell into here. I'm starting from the ground up, so i'll probably be asking a LOT of question, but from what i can tell, this is the place to do it. Look foreward to relying on everyone elses wisdom here!
As for me? I'm from Oregon (that just above California and below Washinton for those of you in the US, for my foriegn, it's in the US). I'm in OR National Guard. In civilian life, i'm a professional tech geek. Been a tech geek for many many years, i'm halfway good at it. Just was never much on software work, but it's been getting slowly beaten into me the last couple years. Suppose i'll just have to plunge deeper into that then, won't i?
Nice country up there...
Welcome maceria
Welcome to all! I'm Doc or DrJ. Lantec gave me my new nickname DrJBHL (BHL = Bleeding Heart Liberal).
I've been using WB and the OD Ultimate for quite a long time, it seems, but never visited the Forums until this year and it takes some getting used to.
The folks here and at Stardock genuinely try to help with all sorts of problems: Those related to skinning and just about anything that might pop up in life, computer problems, car problems...you name it and you'll probably find the right answer here. Even if you don't, you'll always find support because this is a community in every sense of the word.
So, everyone: WELCOME to one and all!
Lantec - this was an excellent idea! Congrats on a job very well done.
hello and welcome to all of the new subscribers i hope you will enjoy it here as much as i do
Welcome aboard. You won't find a more knowledgable, friendly, helpful, crazy bunch of folks anywhere else on the internet. Plunge away.
GO SARAH PALIN
Well....welcome to ya.....WestCoastSalmon....
Now there's one almighty expensive customization job, if ever I saw one... $200,000K and rising. It's just a pity that Stardock didn't get in on the ground floor on that GUI makeover... while some may have had fun dressing her up with Windowblinds, I would've had more fun with the lie detector, window switcher and force shutdown widgets.
Oh, and welcome to macaria and WestCostSalmon... all new members. This is a great place to be, so everyone enjoy your stay.
this place is very new to me and its big..couldnt find the intro thread till now. hullo, iam rom. from california. iam 17, a hardcore gamer (ps2) iam online 17 hours per day. i run my own forums, totaling 180 on various networks like v-bulletin, invisionfree just to name a few. i also do my own gfx. but have not yet taken any interest in doing gfx for win customize site, one day perhaps. ive only just begun using objectdock..and from my POV, its really handy to have. i found this site through winvista forum lol. anyhoo..i wont be very active because of school..but ill try not to appear MIA.

Hello All, New Subscriber but been on the site for little while.. My name is John G also known as JohnnyGnote, Father, Musician, Farmer, Computer Geek and many other things... I love to play on my computers, I'm a webmaster, and run 2 internet radio stations from my studio.. I love the artistic talent of many of the skinners here and have been into skins for a while, Mostly with QCD and Winamp.. Then got ALienguise for my systems.. I was bitten..I've been inspired by the work so many have offered here at WC and have created a few logons to start off with, I hope to get deeper in to the art form of skinning. I live in Duranged CO and have been in the corners area for over 15 years.
