Registration Problem with Objectdock
Published on April 24, 2005 By Lantec In ObjectDock
When I log into SDC everything is fine on the Obeject Desktop page but when I click on the MISC page I get an "! Failed to validate your ObjectDock Plus registration information. Please verify that you have enetered your email address and serial number correctly."...So I proceed to the registration page and re-enter my serial # and email address. It confirms it. Then I go back to the MISC page and get the same error message. It's not expired so I'm figuring this is some kind of bug with SDC.

I still get a weird scroll effect using the wheel (whatever is highlighted zips past 3-4 times rolling the wheel)

Yes, I have the same thing. Thought it was just my eye's playing tricks on me. They tend to do that... I'm using a Logitech Cordless and Optical mouse.

ver. 2.07.333, build 86 still same frame problem.

Ditto.

Given the thread's subject line... I have some questions about SDC...

1) Is there anyway to specify the location of the ~wincustomize directory to be something other than %SYSTEMTEMP%? I believe this is where the thumbnails are kept that are used for display in the skins and themes galleries.

2) Has anyone seen the following, while browsing through a gallery with SDC it stops displaying the thumbnails of the objects contained in the gallery. Once this occurs, it will no longer display any thumbnails for any gallery until it is restarted. It appears to be related to the total number of thumbnails displayed independent of the gallery. E.G. a big gallery like Windowblinds will display this problem in and of itself. Where it may take several smaller galleries to invoke the same conditions. Am I missing a SDC setting someplace?

Any insight would be welcome. Thanks.

I have some issues with Battlefield and the mouse as well. If I scroll, it will go through the weapons until I scroll back to the exact position again. I think I have latest drivers and software for the mouse. Gonna check again.
