Registration Problem with Objectdock
Published on April 24, 2005 By Lantec In ObjectDock
When I log into SDC everything is fine on the Obeject Desktop page but when I click on the MISC page I get an "! Failed to validate your ObjectDock Plus registration information. Please verify that you have enetered your email address and serial number correctly."...So I proceed to the registration page and re-enter my serial # and email address. It confirms it. Then I go back to the MISC page and get the same error message. It's not expired so I'm figuring this is some kind of bug with SDC.

i think it's dodcaster

Sorry about that dodcaster. I use 1920x1200 screen res with normal fonts. So I'll have to claim eye strain on this one.

Bichur, it's the wife. She's a classic southern cook. If it don't fry we don't eat it.

ooh yeah.

Cheese, wrapped in bacon, breaded in pork rinds & deep fried in real lard. Ummmmm Baby!

If you can't fry or grill it, it's not food it's feed.

I've got the same frame overlapping.

Since the general good citizenry will get all the updateds prior to the lowly trolls, I can't comment on that yet.

If it's build 86, see if you can find the thread mentioned in #24 if you want to try that download.

I HAVE A PROBLEM I USED INFECTED THEME AND NOW MY WHOLE SCREEN SORTA HAS A TINT THAT WAY. MY SCREEN IS ALL GREEENED OUT

Do you got any magnets near you monitor? Unshielded speakers? Or perhaps a bent pin in your connection to the monitor. I've seen examples of all of these causing of interesting colour effects.

Not showing the frameline problem like SNK, Jeff T and Thomassen - yet.

Have you tried moving the line? I think I got it when I tried moving it and then it just went weird.

I believe the clue is in the name. Just kidding.

Did you by chance change the color for a different shade?

dodcaster,

Have you tried setting Windows back to default theme, then using your monitor's reset option (should be in the on-screen display menu - if the monitor is not too old)?

You can also do a google search for monitor calibration utilities - NEC makes a basic one that is a free download and has a number of tests that allow you to do some basic evaluations (or better yet, if you have a disc that came with the monitor, it should have some display utilities on it to adjust things like Phase, Pitch, and Image location).

Trying to narrow it down to a hardware or software issue here.
